How I went from an insecure yo-yo dieter to the happiest & most confident version of myself…

I grew up an athlete playing a variety of sports and was constantly spending hours working out at practice. I never learned proper nutrition because I could just eat whatever I wanted and still look fit thanks to the hours of sprints at basketball practice! The problem didn’t start for me until I stopped playing sports and continued to eat like a carefree athlete in college. *Cue me gaining 15lbs*

Over the course of a few weeks I became the heaviest weight I’ve ever been for my 5’ frame. If you’re a fellow shortie then you know every lb gained makes a huge difference in the way you feel. I could hide the weight gain but I couldn't hide how it made me feel. I felt lazy, embarrassed, tired and just overall unhappy.

I knew I needed to make a change. I knew I needed to get healthy... but I didn’t do it in a healthy way. I was a constant yo-yo dieter and that put me in a frustrating cycle of gaining & losing weight. I would stand in front of the mirror picking apart the things that I hated about myself and I would hide out from social outings because I was embarrassed with how I had let myself go. 

So I started a secret fitness IG (lol!) to get accountable to my goals and worked to educate myself on all things fitness and nutrition. I became a fitness instructor in college and a virtual fitness Coach post grad!

My mission is to empower you and give you the tools to be your best self in and out of the gym! I understand the frustration and I’m here to help you create a healthy and sustainable lifestyle!
